Penglipuran is a traditional village located in Bangli District, Bangli Regency, Bali Province. Located at 625 meters above the sea level, around 6 kilometers from Bangli City, and 1 kilometer from Kubu Village, makes Penglipuran village interesting to visit.

Penglipuran has a unique spatial layout that carries a hereditary spatial layout from the ancestors. Tri Mandala, the name of the concept in Penglipuran village. The concept divides the village into three areas, namely Utama Mandala, Madya Mandala, and Nista Mandala.
The division of the region is sorted from the northernmost to the southernmost region. In the northern region, there is Utama Mandala. This region is a sacred place or place of the gods. It was also here that a place of worship was established.

The bamboo trees have sacred value for the residents of Penglipuran Village. This is not without reason, but because this bamboo is a hereditary relic from their ancestors.
